DUBAI, February 22. /TASS/. The domestic market of the United Arab Emirates has vast potential for products of the Russian agro-industrial sector, Russian trade representative in the UAE Andrey Teryokhin told TASS.

"The Emirates are doing everything possible to support their food security but the country has to import foods by virtue of environmental and climatic constraints. This objectively creates opportunities for Russian exporters," the trade representative said.

Food supplies from Russia to the UAE should become one of priority areas in economic cooperation between the countries, especially on the back of trade turnover growth, he added.
