PARIS, November 16. /TASS/. The first batch of around 20,000 tons of Russian fertilizers will arrive in Malawi in the coming days, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Twitter on Wednesday.
"Thanks to the World Food Programme, we have established a pathway to deliver Russian fertilizers to Africa," he wrote. "The first batch of around 20,000 tons has departed from the Netherlands and will arrive in Malawi in the coming days."
The French leader added that the conflict in Ukraine hampered certain states’ access to fertilizers, thus affecting the global food security.
