MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Gazprom continues normal delivery of Russian gas for transit to Europe via Ukraine, official spokesman of the gas holding Sergey Kupriyanov told reporters.
"Gazprom is supplying Russian gas for transit via the territory of Ukraine in the normal mode, in line with nominations of European consumers - 108.4 mln cubic meters for April 3," the spokesman said.
This volume in general corresponds to long-term booking of gas transit via Ukraine (about 109.5 mln cubic meters per day).
Nominations for Saturday, April 2, stood at 108.3 mln cubic meters.
In all, recently, Europe has significantly increased gas purchases from Russia amid spot prices growing due to cold and windless weather and the escalation in Ukraine.
