IRGC calls for US Air Force chief to resign after aircraft downed in Iran

The IRGC Navy also congratulated the air defense forces of the Islamic republic’s army on intercepting an US F-15E fighter jet and an A-10 attack aircraft in the skies over Iran

TEHRAN, April 4. /TASS/. Iran is calling on the Commander of the United States Air Force to resign after two US aircraft were shot down by Iranian air defense fire, the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian armed forces), has stated.

"It is time for the US Air Force commander to be added to this list of resignations in the US army," the IRGC Navy said in a statement posted on social media X, congratulating the air defense forces of the Islamic republic’s army on intercepting an US F-15E fighter jet and an A-10 attack aircraft in the skies over Iran.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump reported that the incident with the downed F-15E fighter jet would supposedly not affect negotiations with Tehran.
