MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. Western partners deceived Russian airlines by terminating leasing contracts and stopping the supply, maintenance of aircraft, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the development of air transportation and aircraft manufacturing on Thursday.
He noted that Russian air carriers and aircraft manufacturers were among the first to feel the consequences of inadequate decisions by Western countries.
"A month ago, European and American companies unilaterally refused to fulfill their obligations under contracts with aviation service companies in Russia. In fact, they deceived Russian partners by stopping the supply, leasing, maintenance and insurance of aircraft," Putin said.
