MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. NATO’s military buildup in the Black Sea region, the Baltic states, and Poland is unprecedented, the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) said on Friday following an enlarged meeting of senior staff at the association’s headquarters.

"There is an unprecedented build-up of NATO military capabilities in the Baltic states, Poland and the Black Sea region," the statement reads.

CSTO Secretary-General Imangali Tasmagambetov stressed that "the current international situation is characterized by growing in global and regional contradictions," in which the member-states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization are also involved.
