MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. Russian rock and pop musician Kris Kelmi died at the age of 63 in his country house in the Moscow Region, a source in law enforcement agencies told TASS on Wednesday.

"Singer Kris Kelmi died in his country house in the Naro-Fominsky District of the Moscow Region. The cause of death is under ascertainment now; however, there is no criminal component in it," the source said.

Kelmi was born on April 21, 1955 and received the pianist diploma in the Gnesins Musical School. He was a member of several rock groups and started the solo career in 1980.
