Experts from Russia, US, China submit initiative to UN to clean up space debris

According to the text of the proposal, TCTB asks the UN Office to review the initiative during the session, which will be held from June 25 to July 4

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Experts from Russia, the United States, and China, collaborating through the international non-profit organization Three Country Trusted Broker (TCTB), have proposed an initiative to the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs to clean up debris in near-Earth orbit, one of TCTB's partners, director of the Research Center for Space Economy and Policy Valentin Uvarov told TASS.

"Together with my partners we proposal to the Office for Outer Space Affairs to create a working group that would work on a pilot project to remove a large piece of space debris," he said.

According to the text of the proposal, TCTB asks the UN Office to review the initiative during the session, which will be held from June 25 to July 4. At the same time, it was proposed to hold a technical presentation of the project.
