IDF stops UN convoy to check for Palestinian suspects

The Israeli military said they received intelligence that several Palestinian suspects could be hiding in one of the vehicles

TEL AVIV, September 9. /TASS/. The Israeli military stopped a United Nations convoy in the northern Gaza Strip after receiving intelligence that several Palestinian suspects could be hiding in one of the vehicles, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

"IDF troops delayed the convoy in order to question the suspects," it said, adding the UN vehicles were not transporting polio vaccines but were meant to rotate UN personnel in the area.
