PARIS, March 7. /TASS/. France and Moldova have concluded a treaty on cooperation in the sphere of defense.
The signing ceremony, timed to coincide with Moldovan President Maia Sandu’s visit to Paris, was aired by the Elysee Palace.
According to French President Emmanuel Macron, a mission of the French Defense Ministry will open in Chisinau in the near future. The French head of state said that its key task will be setting up training courses for Moldovan servicemen.
Additionally, the sides signed a bilateral agreement on economic cooperation for 2024-2029.
