TEL AVIV, November 27. /TASS/. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden that he was positive on possible extension of a four-day humanitarian pause in the Gaza Strip with the condition of up to ten additional hostages to be released per day.

In a video address published by his office, Netanyahu said that he had discussed the release of another group of hostages from the Gaza Strip with the US President in what he called "a very emotional" conversation. "Moreover, I also want to say that we have a way for freeing ten more hostages each day. This is a wonderful thing," the Israeli prime minister said.

He noted though that upon completion of the pause Israel intended to return to executing the military operation in the Palestine enclave in any case. "That said, I told President [Biden] that upon completion of the agreement we would return to reaching our goals with all strength: to eliminate [the Palestinian radical movement] Hamas, to making sure that Gaza would not return to what it was, and, of course, to freeing all our hostages," Netanyahu. "I am confident that we will be able to fulfill this task as we do not have any other way," he added.
