In an interview with TASS this week, Mitrofanov stated that Zenit had no intentions at all to part with the 29-year-old Brazilian forward.
Hulk joined Zenit in the fall of 2012 after playing in Portugal’s Porto FC since 2008. Last year in February, the Brazilian forward extended his contract with Zenit FC until June 2019.
Playing for Zenit St. Petersburg FC, Hulk scored a total 67 goals in 137 matches.
