MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The city of Odessa is being prepared for all-round defense, the regional administration of the Territorial Defense Forces "South" said on its Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, recognized as extremist).

"Odessa is being prepared for all-round defense. Around the city, the construction of multi-kilometer anti-tank ditches and bunkers is being completed, barbed wire and 'dragon’s teeth' are being installed," the statement says.

The administration described these measures as "pre-emptive action." No other details were provided.
