Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov no longer has assets in Donbass, DPR head says

Denis Pushilin also said assets that used to belong to some other "rogue" individuals are also being transferred to state ownership

MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov no longer has any assets in Donbass as they have been handed over to the state, Denis Pushilin, the interim head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said on Friday.

"Rinat Akhmetov no longer owns anything in Donbass. All these assets are now government-owned. The relevant decision has already been made," he told reporters at a meeting in Moscow. "There’s already a procedure in place, approved by the government of the Russian Federation, that sets out how it will proceed and whether trust management will be introduced. That procedure has already been set in motion."

Pushilin also said assets that used to belong to some other "rogue" individuals are also being transferred to state ownership.
