Drone operator tells how he destroyed Ukrainian air defense system in Kursk Region

The unit is part of the 83rd Airborne Forces Brigade

KURSK, February 12. /TASS/. An operator of a fiber-optic-controlled drone at the Russian 83rd Airborne Forces Brigade told TASS how he destroyed a Ukrainian Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system near the border in the Kursk Region.

"Combat operations of the Tigers drone unit continue near the border in the Kursk Region. As part of reconnaissance and search operations, a Strela-10 SAM of neo-Nazi formations was detected and destroyed. Work continues to expand the buffer zone and destroy enemy equipment in the Kursk Region," he said.

The unit is part of the 83rd Airborne Forces Brigade.
