Movement near Chasov Yar creates prospects for Russian forces in DPR, republic’s head says

MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. The advancement of Russian forces near Dzerzhinsk (called Toretsk in Ukraine) creates prospects in the direction of Konstantinovka, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin told the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"Chasov Yar, there is certain progress there as well, which enables, especially due to the liberation of Dzerzhinsk, to plan further movement in the direction of Konstantinovka," Pushilin said.

On February 7, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the liberation of Dzerzhinsk. The city, located northwest of Gorlovka, was the Ukrainian army’s important logistics hub.
