Top Russian diplomat notes positive dynamics of ties with Vietnam in energy, industry

According to Sergey Lavrov, the sides continue an active dialogue aimed at adjustment of their practical cooperation to new geopolitical reality

MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. Moscow welcomes the positive dynamics of the Russian-Vietnamese trade and investment cooperation in such sectors as energy, industry and agriculture, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s greetings to organizers, participants and guests of the fifth Expo-Russia Vietnam 2023.

"Our Vietnamese friends and we traditionally put emphasis on trade and investment cooperation. We welcome its positive dynamics in energy, industry and agriculture sectors. We continue an active dialogue aimed at adjustment of our practical cooperation to new geopolitical reality," Lavrov said.

"This event is also aimed at facilitating the solution of those relevant tasks. The Vietnamese business has a perfect opportunity to get acquainted with products made by local enterprises, get a better look at the Russian market to tap new promising niches on it," he emphasized.
