UNITED NATIONS, November 7. /TASS/. Russia has requested the UN Security Council to hold an urgent meeting on November 8 in connection with Ukraine’s latest strikes on Donetsk, Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said on Tuesday.
"We have requested an urgent UN Security Council meeting in connection with today’s strikes, delivered on Donetsk by the Kiev regime. We expect it to be scheduled for 11:00 p.m. Moscow time [8:00 p.m. GMT] on November 8," the Russian diplomat wrote on Telegram.
DPR first responders informed TASS that a bus came under fire in the republic late on Tuesday, with at least two people injured. Moreover, Ukrainian troops attacked Donetsk city center three times using HIMARS multiple rocket launchers. One rocket directly hit the city department of labor and social protection. According to latest reports, at least 3 people were killed and 30 injured.
