MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. The United Arab Emirates will be a guest country at the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum scheduled for May 2025, deputy director of the Roscongress Foundation Armen Khachatryan announced during a joint briefing with the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Khachatryan emphasized that the forum, to be held under the motto: "The Law: Lessons of the Past for the World of the Future," will take place on May 19-21 in St. Petersburg. According to the official, this theme highlights the importance of "the concept of law as the foundation of the economy, a key pillar, and a unifying force that brings nations and states together in our complex, changing world to achieve shared goals of development and prosperity."
"We are pleased to welcome this year’s guest country, the United Arab Emirates," he said.
The deputy head of the Roscongress Foundation also noted that last year’s International Legal Forum attracted over 5,000 participants from 81 countries and featured more than 120 business events with over 700 speakers. "We are confident that this year’s forum will bring together leading representatives of the legal, business, and political communities from Russia and abroad," Khachatryan noted.
The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum was established in 2011 and is held under the auspices of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Justice Ministry and the Roscongress Foundation.
