By 6:37 p.m. GMT the MOEX Index had extended gains to 5.53% as it traded at 3,184.78 points

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. The MOEX Index with additional IMOEX2 ticker surpassed 3,100 points during the evening trading session for the first time since July 9, 2024 following a telephone conversation between Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, according to trading data.

As of 8:22 p.m. Moscow time (5:22 p.m. GMT) the MOEX was up by 2.92% at 3,106.04 points.

By 9:37 p.m. Moscow time (6:37 p.m. GMT) the MOEX Index had extended gains to 5.53% as it traded at 3,184.78 points.
