MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. The share of Russia in global exports and GDP is increasing, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said at a meeting in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"Russia is a significant partner for many countries, including major and the largest economies. The leader in the turnover of Turkey and Belarus, the second place for Kazakhstan, the fourth place for India, and the sixth place for China," Reshetnikov said. "The share of Russia is also gradually growing in global exports and global GDP largely owing to such proactive foreign economic activity," he noted.
Exports account for a quarter of GDP, the minister said.
"It [the export] is to support up to 10% of economic growth during the next three years. Refocusing to markets of friendly countries is taking place for that. They account for more than 80% of total trade turnover, while it was less than a half in 2021," Reshetnikov added.
