Russian Railways reports on successful import substitution

Deputy CEO Anatoly Khramtsov noted that the company "established the Center of Competencies of technology sovereignty in order to do a risk analysis for the year as regards import substitution"

MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Russian Railways has completed import substitution for more than 13,500 railway machinery components, almost 73% of components requiring substitution, Deputy CEO of the railroad operator Anatoly Khramtsov said at the Russia Expo international forum.

"We have more than 18,000 components that required substitution. During that time, starting in 2022, we substituted over 13,500 components. This is almost 73%," he said.

"We have established the Center of Competencies of technology sovereignty in order to do a risk analysis for the year as regards import substitution," Khramtsov added.
