US consulted by Israel on Gaza strikes — White House

A senior Hamas official told Reuters earlier that Israel had unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement

NEW YORK, March 18. /TASS/. White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has said that the Trump administration was consulted by Israel on the planned strikes on the Gaza Strip.

"The Trump administration and the White House were consulted by the Israelis on their attacks in Gaza tonight, and as President Trump has made it clear, Hamas the Houthis Iran, all those who seek to terrorize not just Israel but also the United States of America will see a price to pay," she said in an interview with Fox News.

The Palestinian movement Hamas has said that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resumed aggression against peaceful population in the Gaza Strip. A senior Hamas official told Reuters earlier that Israel had unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
