China hopes to reach fair agreement on Ukraine — Foreign Minister

China will continue playing a constructive role in political settlement of the Ukrainian issue and take efforts to reach peace, Wang Yi said

BEIJING, February 16. /TASS/. Chinese authorities hope to reach a fair agreement for settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and support peace restoration efforts, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrey Sibiga during the Munich Security Conference.

"China supports all the efforts for peace restoration. We hope to reach a fair and solid peace accord, having the binding effect, which will be acceptable for all the parties," the top Chinese diplomat said, cited by the Foreign Ministry of China.

China will continue playing a constructive role in political settlement of the Ukrainian issue and take efforts to reach peace, Wang added.
