MINSK, February 13. /TASS/. The latest Belarusian move to free a US national has not been the only request from Washington, the press secretary of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Natalia Eismont, told TASS.

"This has not been the only request from the current US administration which has been submitting such [release] petitions. We would rather stick to confidentiality in these matters. The US Department of State and the White House have full information about the details," she stated, commenting on the recent release of three prisoners, including an American citizen, by Belarus.

Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that Belarus had released three detainees, including an American.
