North Korea’s Kim Jong Un wishes to Putin, Russia that 2025 be year of ‘great victory’

The North Korean leader said he was sending the wishes on behalf of himself, the Korean people and all the service personnel of the country’s armed forces

TOKYO, December 31. /TASS/. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wished to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people and armed forces that 2025 be the year when they achieve a "great victory," the Korean Central News Agency reported.

In a telegram, Kim Jong Un said he hopes that the New Year 2025 will be "recorded as the first year of war victory in the 21st century when the Russian army and people defeat neo-Nazism and achieve a great victory," according to the report.

The North Korean leader said he was sending the wishes on behalf of himself, the Korean people and all the service personnel of the country’s armed forces, the KCNA said. He referred to Putin as the "dearest friend and comrade" and expressed willingness to further strengthen comprehensive strategic partnership between the countries.
