MELITOPOL, December 17. /TASS/. The terrorists that killed Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia’s Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces, were acting on assignment from Zelensky's secret services, and they will be hunted down, but at this point it is already clear that their bosses were following instructions from the West, Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans of Russia’s Civic Chamber has told TASS.
"The whole world heard what Kirillov was saying and knew the data concerning US biological laboratories, provocations in Syria, Ukraine's attempts to systematically use chemical weapons and other war crimes. I believe that the perpetrators will be tracked down, but these perpetrators are on the payroll of Zelensky's secret services, which acted at the behest of the West," Rogov said.
He noted that Kirillov’s assassination was "another case of Kiev's state terrorism, which spans the entirety of Russia, new regions, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sevastopol."
The timing of the attack is no coincidence, he said.
"The enemy is waging an information war against us. It was a double blow: the terrorist attack was committed the day after the Defense Ministry’s board meeting, where the results of the year were reviewed, and literally on the eve of the president's year-end question and answer conference. The Kiev regime pursues the information impact first thing," Rogov said.
On the morning of December 17, an explosive device was set off on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow. It had been planted in a scooter parked near the entrance of an apartment building. Kirillov and his assistant were killed. Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Articles 105, 205 and 222 of the Criminal Code (murder, terrorist act, illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition). Detective activities are currently underway to identify the persons involved.
