Ukraine drone production drastically drops due to intrigues in Zelensky's office — Rada

"The Defense Ministry has barely purchased any drones throughout 2024," lawmaker Maryana Bezuglaya added

MOSCOW, December 10. /TASS/. The production of drones in Ukraine has significantly declined following the suspension of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fyodorov from his responsibilities in this area, Verkhovna Rada lawmaker Maryana Bezuglaya stated.

"As soon as Mikhail Fyodorov was removed from overseeing work on drones, procurement and development in this area dropped drastically - by several times within a month," Bezuglaya wrote on her Telegram channel. "The Defense Ministry has barely purchased any drones throughout 2024," she added.

According to the MP, Fyodorov’s dismissal was due to "the intrigues of [Vladimir Zelensky’s office head Andrey] Yermak and [commander-in-chief Alexander] Syrsky." "Andrey Yermak views Fyodorov as a political competitor, while Syrsky, who resents Fyodorov for ‘meddling in military affairs,’ is scheming on the other side," she believes.
