Interim president appoints Valery Bganba Acting Prime Minister of Abkhazia

In a separate order, Gunba appointed the acting prime minister

SUKHUM, November 20. /TASS/. Interim President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab and appointed Valery Bganba as the Acting Prime Minister of the republic.

"In accordance with Article 7 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Abkhazia ‘On the cabinet of ministers (government) of the Republic of Abkhazia,’ I hereby accept the resignation of Prime Minister Alexander Zolotinskovich Ankvab. The cabinet of ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia is instructed to continue its duties," says the interim president’s order.

In a separate order, Gunba appointed the acting prime minister.

"In accordance with the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Abkhazia ‘On the cabinet of ministers (government) of the Republic of Abkhazia,’ I hereby appoint Valery Ramshukhovich Bganba as the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia," the document reads.
