Germany interested in investigating Nord Stream sabotage act — Cabinet

It was earlier reported that Denmark has dropped its investigation into the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines due to lack of grounds to continue it

BERLIN, February 26. /TASS/. The German government continues to be interested in investigating sabotage acts at Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, Cabinet Spokesperson Christiane Hoffmann said at a briefing after the report of investigation being halted by the Danish police.

"The German government continues to be very interested in investigating the sabotage act [at Nord Stream], so that we get to know who is behind it," the Spokesperson said. The Office of General Prosecutor is dealing with investigation in Germany and deciding on possible further steps, she noted.
