Experts of the Center of Public Networks Monitoring and Control, subordinate to the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media, Roskomnadzor, registered a global failure in operations of WhatsApp messenger [owned by Meta recognized as extremist in Russia], the watchdog’s press service told TASS.

"The Center of Public Networks Monitoring and Control notes down the global failure in WhatsApp service operations. Platform failure reports are coming worldwide, including from the US, Italy and Germany," the press service said.
