Putin issues instructions to support creation of International Association of NGOs

The directive aims to enhance international humanitarian cooperation among public associations and non-profit organizations from CIS member states and other friendly countries

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government, in collaboration with the Presidential Staff and the Association of Volunteer Centers, to support the establishment of an International Association of Volunteer and Other Non-Profit Organizations, along with its activities. This instruction, stemming from a meeting with volunteers who participated in the International Forum of Civil Participation "We Are Together," has been published on the Kremlin's website.

The directive aims to enhance international humanitarian cooperation among public associations and non-profit organizations from CIS member states and other friendly countries.

A report on the progress made is to be submitted initially by July 1, 2025, and will thereafter be provided on a semi-annual basis.
