Aurus to start producing new executive car line — Russian Deputy PM

Sales are intended to be launched in 2025

MOSCOW, January 4. /TASS/. Aurus, the Russian producer of top-class cars, will start producing a line of executive cars, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told TASS in an interview.

Sales are intended to be launched in 2025, the official noted.

"As regards the Aurus, I can that say that the line of de luxe class already produced in series at present has the Senat and the Komendant [models] as the primary ones and plus the MPV. We intend to launch production of Class S cars in the near time. We expect first sales of such cars will be as early as in 2025. There will be the Class S and the Class E [cars]," Manturov said. "They will be in a different price category, more affordable ones, and production will be of a larger scale," he added.

A SUV can be probably added to the product line over time, Manturov noted.
