Russia records 12,347 new daily COVID-19 cases, with 31 new fatalities — crisis center

As many as 689 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, a 50.5% decrease from the previous day

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 12,347 over the past day to 22,072,717, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Saturday.

As many as 689 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, a 50.5% decrease from the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients rose in 8 regions, while in 65 other regions the figure decreased. A day earlier, 1,391 people were rushed to hospitals.

Moscow’s COVID-19 cases rose by 2,658 over the past day, versus 3,043 a day earlier, reaching 3,378,984 since the onset of the pandemic, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 1,409 over the past day versus 1,311 a day earlier, reaching 1,857,569.

COVID-19 recoveries

Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 6,805 over the past day, reaching 21,432,694, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters.

COVID-19 death toll

Russia’s COVID-19 death toll climbed by 31 over the past day to 395,551. A day earlier, 36 COVID-19 deaths were registered.
