Ukraine’s army attacks Russia’s Belgorod Region with over 30 drones in past day

BELGOROD, March 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military attacked Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region with 36 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 36 munitions over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"In the Shebekinsky municipal district, the town of Shebekino, the villages of Belyanka, Voznesenovka, Meshkovoye, Murom, Novaya Tavolzhanka, Rzhevka and the farmsteads Maryino and Mukhin came under two bombardments by seven munitions and attacks by 21 drones, of which 18 were shot down and suppressed," the governor wrote.

During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian army attacked the Volokonovsky district by 11 munitions and one UAV, damaging five private houses, four outbuildings, a gas pipeline and an electricity transmission line. The Belgorodsky district came under an attack by seven munitions and five Ukrainian drones, which damaged a private household and an outbuilding, he specified.

The Valuisky and Graivoronsky districts were attacked by six Ukrainian drones and three munitions, with no casualties or damage reported. The Ukrainian army also fired eight munitions and launched three drones on the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, with no consequences, he said.
