MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. More than 30 Russian regions located outside the special military operation zone have been attacked by Ukraine since February 2022, Russia's Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin told TASS in an interview.

"Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian side has targeted the territories of 34 entities of Russia. These are regions located beyond the territory of the military operation," he said.

The Investigative Committee chief said that to do this, the Ukrainian armed forces use, among other things, Western weapons: tactical missile systems, multiple rocket launchers and artillery systems, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
