Russian forces liberate 1.5 square miles near Kurakhovo — official

MELITOPOL, December 10. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces have liberated an area of 1.5 square miles southwest of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Vladimir Rogov, chairman of a Russian Civic Chamber committee, told TASS.

"Russian forces have liberated four square kilometers [1.5 square miles] in and west of the settlement of Sukhiye Yaly," he said.

On December 6, Rogov informed TASS that the Russian Armed Forces were engaged in mop-up operations in Sukhiye Yaly, freeing an area of about 10 square kilometers (3.9 square miles) between this settlement and the village of Konstantinopolskoye, where intense combat was underway.
