MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. Western European countries want to come to Russia's borders using Ukrainian territory, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.

"Through Ukraine the Western Europe wants to come to our borders. And there were plans that were discussed almost openly to put British naval bases on the Sea of Azov. Crimea was eyed. Dreaming about creating NATO base in Crimea and so on and so forth," the head of the Russian diplomacy said.
