MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson turned out to be very interesting, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"The interview is quite long, over an hour and a half," she told the Sputnik radio station.

According to her, the interview is currently being translated and will be released in a couple of days. "It was a very interesting conversation," the diplomat added.

The interview included questions about Russia-US relations, the Ukraine crisis and other issues, Zakharova said. "The focus was on the current situation in our uneasy relations with the United States and the impact all this has had on global geopolitics and a possible future state of affairs. The Ukraine issue and other questions were also touched upon," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman specified.

Carlson earlier arrived in Moscow for an interview with Lavrov.
