MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova has published the names of the 630 POWs whom the Kiev regime refuses to take back, hoping that the move would lead to a change in the situation.
She pointed out on her Telegram channel that these POWs have been in Russian captivity for over one year.
"I publish this list now, hoping for a prompt exchange process," she said.
She added that Ukraine continues to delay the Russian-Ukrainian exchange of POWs, while "families of servicemen on both sides continue to wait for the return of their relatives."
Previously, the Russian ombudsman called on Ukraine to return to a constructive dialogue on the exchange of prisoners, because this process is complicated by certain political agendas in Ukraine. After that, the Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Dmitry Lubinets requested the list of Ukrainian POWs that Russia is ready to exchange from the federal ombudsman.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia has never rejected the exchange of POWs with Ukraine, and continues to work in this direction with the utmost professionalism.
