MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. The United States can end the conflict in Ukraine quite quickly because it is involved in it, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Probably, we should be frank, it is important that the election in America is over. Why is it important? During the election campaign, some spoke about war, some spoke about peace and promised to establish peace quickly," he said at the Znanie (Knowledge) youth marathon. "America is the country, which can bring the conflict around Ukraine to a close very quickly, because this is a country that is involved in this conflict directly and indirectly. This is the country which declares the goal of dealing a strategic defeat on us, Russians, on our country, the Russian Federation."

He said that it is worth hailing if someone can change anything. "If these are only campaign statements, we have seen such things before," he added.
