Some 1,000 observers will come to Russian presidential election from international bodies

The Russian presidential election is slated for March 17

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. About 1,000 observers representing various international bodies will come to the Russian presidential election, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador at Large Gennady Askaldovich said at a meeting at the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) dedicated to preparations for the 2024 presidential election.

"Some 1,000 observers from various international structures will come to us [for the presidential election]," the diplomat said.

The Russian presidential election is slated for March 17. The vote will take place over three days, on March 15-17, 2024, making it the first-ever three-day presidential election in Russian history.
