The possibility of a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is not currently under consideration, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the Ekho Moskvy (or Echo of Moscow) radio station on Wednesday.

"No discussions are underway on the possibility of a face-to-face meeting between the two top diplomats," Zakharova said in response to a question.

On February 4, Lavrov and Blinken held a telephone conversation. Russia expressed willingness to build constructive dialogue on a wide range of issues.
