NEW YORK, June 9. /TASS/. An American AH-64 Apache helicopter gunship went down near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, but both crew members were rescued, The New York Times reported.

It remains unclear whether the helicopter was shot down, or whether the crash occurred due to a technical malfunction.
