NEW YORK, January 2. /TASS/. Police found gasoline cans and pyrotechnical devices in the Cybertruck that exploded at the Trump International Hotel, Las Vegas police chief Kevin McMahill said at a press conference.
"You'll see some of the evidence in the back of the vehicle. So those are gasoline canisters. They are camp fuel canisters and large firework mortars," he said.
The Cybertruck design made it possible to significantly reduce the damage, McMahill noted. "The fact that this was a cyber truck really limited the damage that occurred inside of the valet because it had most of the blast go up through the truck and out. In fact, if you look on that [incident] video, you'll see that the front glass doors at the Trump Hotel were not even broken by that blast," he stressed.
The truck was rented in Colorado, the police chief said. It was traced through the Tesla charging stations, he added.
