As of 2:01 a.m. Moscow time on Friday (11:01 p.m. GMT on Thursday), the precious metal traded at $4,950.1 per troy ounce (+0.75%). By 2:06 a.m. Moscow time (11:06 p.m. GMT), gold accelerated gains to $4,955.9 per troy ounce, rising 0.86%.
