MURMANSK, March 27. /TASS/. Russian authorities agreed earlier to prepare a detailed development model of the Northern Sea Route but it has not yet been done, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting on Arctic region development.
"We need to achieve as specific as possible financial, management and legislative decisions now, after all the discussions. I would like to remind that we discussed with the government the issue that the Northern Sea Route development model should be defined in detail," the head of state said.
This pertains to the cargo flow, the infrastructure and the fleet, the president noted. "The agreement was reached to work out all the organizational points. I regret saying the decision have not been made to that effect so far. The model was not prepared. I draw your attention to that, colleagues," Putin said, addressing participants in the meeting.
The launch of projects important for the Arctic Region and Russia at large should not be postponed due to current difficulties, he added.
