Russian PM greenlights draft agreement with UAE on avoidance of double taxation

The Finance Ministry has been tasked with holding negotiation with the United Arab Emirates

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has adopted the draft agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on avoidance of double taxation, according to a respective decree published on the official website of legal information.

"To approve the draft agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the United Arab Emirates on avoidance of double taxation regarding taxes on income and capital and prevention of tax avoidance presented by the Russian Finance Ministry and approved by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Economic Development Ministry, the Russian Justice Ministry, the Russian Federal Tax Service and preliminarily worked out with the Emirati side," the document reads.

The Finance Ministry has been tasked with holding negotiation with the UAE, as well as with signing the mentioned deal on behalf of the Russian government upon reaching an agreement.
