MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Russia’s Finance Ministry will allocate 66.5 bln rubles ($677.5 mln) for purchases of foreign currency and gold within the fiscal rule from February 7 to March 6, with daily purchases equaling 3.3 bln rubles ($33.6 mln), the ministry said in a statement.
"The amount of funds allocated for purchases of foreign currency and gold totals 66.5 bln rubles. Transactions will be carried out from February 7 to March 6, 2025, respectively, the daily volume of purchase of foreign currency and gold will equal 3.3 bln rubles," the statement reads.
From January 15 to February 6, the Finance Ministry planned to allocate 70.2 bln rubles for purchases of foreign currency and gold within the fiscal rule, with daily purchases equaling 4.1 bln rubles.
