Expenditures on National Projects in Russia total $27.4 bln as of December 1

The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture, Demography, and Healthcare

MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Expenditures from the federal budget for the implementation of National Projects in Russia amounted provisionally to 2.76 trillion rubles ($27.4 bln) or 83% of the target as of December 1 of this year, the Finance Ministry reports.

"According to preliminary data, as of December 1, 2024, performance of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of National Projects amounted to 2,755.2 bln rubles or 83% of the planned budget allocations," the ministry said.

The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (92.3%), Demography (90.3%), and Healthcare (89.8%).

According to the ministry’s data, performance is also over 80% for Science and Universities (87%), Housing and Urban Environment (86.2%), International Cooperation and Export (84.8%), Labor Productivity (83.5%), Education (82.7%), and Safe and High-Quality Roads (80.6%).

They are followed by Small and Medium-size Business and Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative Support (79.1%), Ecology (78.1%), Tourism and Hospitality Industry (74.1%), Digital Economy of the Russian Federation (64.3%), the Comprehensive Plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) (51.5%), and Unmanned Aerial Systems (51.3%),the Ministry informed.
